My co-worker is having a baby and we threw her a baby shower at work. I love, love, LOVE when people are having babies because it gives me the chance to make the cutest things. I wanted to make something cute for her little girl (en route), but only had a couple of days. I found this great hat pattern from Projects Around the House and loved the style. It's a simple pattern while having a little flair with the bows. I based the booties off of a pattern I found, originating from The Lovely Crow, and then crafted my own, slightly smaller bows based off of the one given in the hat pattern.I thought it may also be fun to stray from the traditional pink and went with a darker purple.
