My co-worker is having a baby and we threw her a baby shower at work. I love, love, LOVE when people are having babies because it gives me the chance to make the cutest things. I wanted to make something cute for her little girl (en route), but only had a couple of days. I found this great hat pattern from Projects Around the House and loved the style. It's a simple pattern while having a little flair with the bows. I based the booties off of a pattern I found, originating from The Lovely Crow, and then crafted my own, slightly smaller bows based off of the one given in the hat pattern.

I thought it may also be fun to stray from the traditional pink and went with a darker purple. I think it contrasts great with the white. For more patterns and projects, check out my Pinterest or back here for new patterns!
